Announcing Go Plague Monkey! Go!

Since the release of Super Amazing Wagon Adventure I've been working on a new game. I've been talking about the game for a long time now on Twitter, but the game is now finally far enough along I'm ready to give it a website update. The game is called Go Plague Monkey! Go! It's is a top down 2D action game where you control a monkey with a highly fatal, contagious disease who is accidentally let loose in a randomly generated city. The game is inspired in equal parts by action roguelike games like Spelunky and open world action games like Grand Theft Auto. The game's website has screenshots and a little more information.

I'm not quite ready to set a release date for the game, and there's no trailer just yet, but I'm already very excited about finishing it and releasing it as soon as I can. I'm hoping to have the game for sale before the end of the year. It's a much more ambitious game than Super Amazing Wagon Adventure, and I'm anxious to see what people think.
